The New Normal Is A Continuation Of The Old War Machine – For The Common Good, Of Course
The Democrats face the same problem as the Republicans – they are corrupt, and owned by Wall St. That includes, of course, the big banks, Big Oil, Big Tech, the military industrial complex & the war machine, & Big Pharma, naturally. The new official enemy is a virus, we are told; and the war fever is directed to that new narrative. That makes the major parties committed to the new paradigm of medical martial law – for the greater good, of course.
Always, throughout history, every great evil, and every great tyranny, has been rationalized as being for the greater good. But the real enemies, in the eyes of the elite, have always been democracy, freedom, and the people. It is no different today. The stakes are simply higher.
“Fascism and freedom are the only two sides battling” – Woodie Guthrie
It is the same then and now. Only the faces and outward forms have changed. The trouble is, in the 1930s and ’40s, people knew it was a battle between fascism and freedom. Today, most haven’t a clue what’s going on. They think we’re fighting a bad strain of the flu. They are in for a rude awakening.
The real battle line shaping up is between the authoritarians and the anti-authoritarians. Woody Guthrie was right.
